We invite you to take a day away from the usual weekend busy-ness to renew your friendship with God during the Easter season. The retreat talks will be based in part on the newly released second edition of the book "Time for God" by Fr. Jacques Philippe. Time for God focuses on mental prayer: prayer that consists of facing God in solitude and silence in order to enter into intimate, loving communion with him. As Saint Josemaria urged, "Prayer is not the prerogative of monks; it is a Christian undertaking of men and women of the world who know themselves to be children of God."

The day's schedule includes Mass, meditations given by a priest of Opus Dei, talks by laywomen, opportunities for Confession and spiritual direction, and quiet time for prayer and reflection.  To maintain a spirit of recollection during the day, the retreat will be silent except during lunch and refreshment breaks.
